Boys are such a pain πŸ˜›

So, I’ve potty trained pets before. A lot of them actually and I’ve never had as much of an issue as I have with this little man.

Ugh!!!

Why are boys so much more difficult?

My female dogs have all figured out the puppy pad thing in 3 weeks, then alerting me by going to the door by 5 weeks.

But this guy, my little Bruiser man… is going on month 2…3πŸ€” and we’re still playing the “Don’t pee on my carpet!” game πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

He’s to the point where he knows and understands he has done wrong. But he just hasn’t gotten a handle on using his pad on a regular basis. Yet. Ughh….

We will have this mastered by the end of the month, I’m determined.

Bruiser, a newspaper man?

I think Bruiser has shown me just another reason why he was meant to be in my life. 😊

Not only does he have a weird habit of sitting on my shoulders like a parrot (or cat if you know my kiddos at home lol), but he also spent all day Sunday watching me write and edit a few articles, and sat on my lap watching a slew of newspaper based movies.

Most likely he just found the noises curious, but I can pretend he’s a writer at heart and thinking about the thrill of chasing down a good story and beating deadlines. Lol πŸ˜…

I feel Bruiser and I are starting over at the beginning. Potty training is a pain in the arse…. females are so much easier to train. Hands down.

And he’s proving to me that he has full intent of finding every loop hole possible to get around following the basic rules of potty training and behavior. My puppy the toddler ladies and gentleman πŸ˜…

We’ll get the hang of it.

Hopefully sooner than later πŸ™πŸΌ
